Something A Little Different

Wow!!! It has been a long time since
I have posted anything here.
We celebrated Christmas, Rang in the New year, and I have turned another year older. A lot sure can happen in a little over a month.

And tonight I offer something a little different, at least to web anyway. Meet Jane , she is my Queen Anne inspired cloth doll. She has made her debut over at Early Work Mercantile. Every now and then I have an aching for a good ole cloth doll. I plan on making
several cloth ladies
this year.
They are in my blood.
Each lady will be unique
and a one of a kind
just as my other ladies
are. Let me know
what you think?
God Bless,
Julie

She is beautiful Julie.
In soft subdued shades of brown she is most humble...
Happy Belated birthday my dear.

She is lovely - and I like that making her a little more plain lets the remarkable clothing you have created for her shine a bit more!

Julie: Finally I have had time to visit your blog. Your dolls are beautiful and sooo unique. Seeing the mourning doll reminds of Willows and Early Blooms and how much I enjoyed meeting you. I have an unrelated question about tan dying. We talked briefly about the possiblity of using Rit tan dye to tone down a quilt I had made. When you have time please give me some advise as to how much dye to use on a queen size quilt. Thanks. Marian Johnson Waverly, IA
